You give. You try. You care. I see you.

Dear Teachers: When you are having your own issues at home yet come into your classroom and create the safest place your students might ever experience, I see you. You listen with patience. You encourage with hope. You make your students see a strength in themselves that they don't see without you. You forgive mistakes and compliment their effort. You talk gently. I see you.

Dear Doctors: When you want so badly to be home, and you call that patient on your own time to be sure they know their choices. I see you. I see you sacrifice your time for theirs. I see you squeeze yet another bit of your heart to be shared with another. I see you.

Dear First Responders: When everyone turns in fear, and you go in to a scary situation with intention to help, I see you. Your concern is for others. Your courage is immense. You make no excuses and go. I see you.

Dear Moms: When you need to be at work on time and your son just wants to be near his mom, I see you let go of you, and hold him. Your eyes connect with his and his heartbeat slows as he calms in your arms. I see you.

Dear Neighbors: You make the most yummy food and so many times, bring some to me while it's hot. I feel cared for by you. Your generosity warms me. I see you.

Dear Coaches: You've got many in your care. You've been doing it for years. And you continue to make each player important. You encourage them. You highlight what they do right. You push them with love to keep growing. I see you.

Dear Customer Service Representatives: You take my call even after someone was rude to you and you're so polite to me. You patiently listen and help me arrive at a solution for why I called. You tell me it's your pleasure and mean it. I see you.

Dear Managers: When all you do is hear from the top that you need to get more production out of your employees and you believe in the power of camaraderie and respect, I see you. You know what it feels like to be a part of something respectful and kind and you create it. Your employees know they are cared for. I see you.

Dear Dads: You walk the tightrope of providing and caring for everyone in your family when sometimes you need care yourself. I see you. Head down you carry on, sometimes desperate and don't quit. Your will is amazing. Your acceptance of responsibility is remarkable. I see you.

Dear Politicians: You reflect on how your decisions will effect others and vote for what will benefit the majority. I see you. You put party aside and bring morals to the forefront. You remember why you choose to serve, and you know that with altruism we all benefit, including you. You for know what you stand for and it is more than yourself. I see you.

Dear Everyone: When we give, we reap the reward of knowing we have something to give. When those around us show care, we feel cared for. When those around us try, they encourage us to keep trying. And when we see each other for the good that we are, we bring that goodness to light. May we do all we can to recognize this and never give up the care of one another. We are all each others' caretaker.

When this digital world of ours presents us with unimaginable extremes, or causes us to feel that we are never good enough, I just want you to know. I see you. And I'm so very grateful.
