You are knowledgeable, have a calm demeanor and voice and are able to fully discuss the subject matter. I found the recap and examples very helpful. You are very open to feedback and make everyone feel welcome and free to provide input. I have been looking for some calmness and change in my life and have had difficulty finding it. I have been to a therapist off and on over the years as I get "stuck" but lately it has been very difficult to schedule due to an overwhelming demand for therapy services. The links to meditation have been helpful. I would certainly like to attend another course if you decide to do one.. I plan to do my best to keep up. with mindfulness practice, taking the time to make time for it. Thank you!

The class was well-balanced. I felt like it was a really nice mix of teaching, practice, and Q&A. I really wouldn't change the imx as I did think it was just enough of each, and even more importantly, there was good intervals between all the different components. Nothing ever felt like, "is this ever going to end". It was just enough teaching, and then we got to apply it through practice and questions seemed welcomed throughout.
I took this class not actually expecting to like meditation or to be able to do it and have finished the eight classes wanting to continue to learn and practice. I saw differences in how I was approaching difficult situations and felt I was managing emotions and reactions better, hyperfocusing on things less, and feeling calmer in situations in which I would normally have been quite stressed.
I also enjoyed getting to know the others in the class – what a remarkable group of women – and hearing their meditation journeys and struggles made it truly seem much more do-able. To learn that there are many ways of approaching this and many styles was very empowering.

Diane is a very patient and methodical teacher. She walks you through in great detail and when needed, other practices are provided.
It was a pleasure taking this course on meditation and I look forward to the class on Loving-Kindness as well.

You have a calming, open, nonjudgmental presence that invites people to feel welcome in whatever state the come in. Also, the sessions were very well structured, with a great mix of teachings, experiential and sharing among participants

First of all, your gentle and kind nature is excellently suited for this type of teaching. Your open heart makes the content you are presenting just flow like a gentle stream. It is so apparent that you are living in the very space you teach about ,and your authenticity allows the students to absorb the lesson even more. You always give us ample opportunity for questions and make sure we understand the lesson.
It was wonderful, expansive for my meditation practice and so much fun.
